Colina Polo Club is the newest development by the Polo Federation of Chile, one of the country’s oldest and most exclusive clubs. Designed as a resort community surrounding 11 brand new Polo Fields, houses will have access to all of the club’s amenities, and residents will feel as if they have Field Level access to all of the excitement.  Forsite has provided a site analysis and pre-architectural visualizations for an ultra-luxury home that will marry the design tastes the home builders with the community’s architectural and material guidelines.

Nestled in a valley surrounded by picturesque hillsides, the resort community surrounding the Colina Polo Club has achieved a harmonious blend of diverse architectural styles. Forsite’s challenge was to visualize a home that incorporated the client’s distinct tastes –  a blend of modern Mediterranean and classic Chilean Countryside – while at the same time conforming to the architectural standards of the resort community.

The focal point of the design directive was to capitalize on the breathtaking views of the polo field. Transparency became a key design element, creating a visual connection between the interiors and the vibrant energy of the polo matches beyond. Large, strategically placed windows and glass doors were employed to open up the living spaces, providing uninterrupted vistas of the dynamic polo action.
The exterior facade is a delightful fusion of modernity and Mediterranean charm. Crisp lines and contemporary materials coexist with elements reminiscent of Mediterranean architecture, including warm-toned stucco, terracotta accents, and lush landscaping that complements the natural beauty of the Chilean countryside.

To strike a balance between the couple’s divergent style preferences, the interiors showcase a curated mix of modern and classic elements. Clean lines and minimalist aesthetics characterize the modern spaces, while the classic touches introduce a sense of warmth and familiarity inspired by traditional Chilean country homes. This juxtaposition creates a unique and personalized living environment that seamlessly caters to both sensibilities.

Ultimately, this house in the polo club emerges as a bespoke residence that not only capitalizes on its privileged location but also elegantly weaves together a diverse set of design languages.
